What we do for entertainment....

My 9 year old son recently asked why I was upset all the time. I looked at him in amazement! Me? Upset? No way!! I'm too blessed to be depressed! He commented that I haven't been smiling very much lately. I checked out my facial expression in the mirror and to my utter horror, I found a very destictive frowny line between my eyebrows. Hmmmm...... This has to come from concentration, not aggravation!! So, to improve our day and the reputation I hold with my 4 homeschooled sweeties, I'm making a conscious effort to SMILE more :) Even when I'm mad! This had it's effects on Landon. A few days later, he replied to my "mad smile" by saying, "Mom, there is that wicked smile again!" I couldn't help but laugh :) To which I respond by tickling (my kids love it!) and we all start again with real smiles!
